Nutrition Project

​

In this project, we have to keep track of food we eat in a week in our Food Journal and calculate the nutritions we get in each meal in our Nutrition Tracker. We then analyze our diet and designed a better diet plan for ourself. The next step of this project is to choose a partner and help them improve their diet which suits their lifestyle as well. We then write a Reflection according to what we have done in the project.

Self-Directed Project; Is Humanity Insane?

Self-Directed Project

       The Self-Directed Project is a project to help students demonstrates their development of conceptual or procedural knowledge in order to reach the desired learning outcomes. I once read Stephen King's quote “As a species we're fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up reasons to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion?” that sparks my idea to work on the research question "Is Humanity Insane?" My learning goal is to gain more understanding on us, humans, as a basis for any further improvement in my life.

Personal Development Project

    This project focuses on developing student's emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills needed for the future. The project could be categorised into 3 sections in which each section including all the documents will be clearly explained in the underneath. 

Goal Setting

       Students must 2 goals that demonstrate their understanding of their own emotional tendencies and develop strategies to improve. The goals that I have conducted are 'Being More Open-Minded' and 'To Stop Shaking Legs.' I also documented all my learning process and strategies used in the Process Journal while I worked towards my goals. Moreover, there is also a reflection of my attainment of my goals at the end,too.

    A creating of personal statement which will demonstrate student's understanding of 'Personal Branding' and help the student to write application for university and scholarships.  Interview Videos

      Before and after Interview Videos demonstrating improvement in interview skills in term of body language and students ability to answer questions effectively. I got a feedback from the teacher saying that I spoke too softly. I then create a plan to improve based on the feedback I received. Everything that I did to improve my interview skills is recorded in my process journal. Also, there is a reflection at the end to reflect my result and progress.
