Self-Directed Project;

          Is Humanity Insane?

The Self-Directed Project is a project to help students demonstrates their development of conceptual or procedural knowledge in order to reach the desired learning outcomes. I once read Stephen King's quote “As a species we're fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up reasons to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion?” that sparks my idea to work on the research question "Is Humanity Insane?" My learning goal is to gain more understanding on us, humans, as a basis for any further improvement in my life.

A document of my knowledge and what I have learned during the process of making my project. It has been categorized into 3 different forms.

 Short Story ; Giovanni Giorgio 

A short story project incorporating and utilizing the literary devices and skills students have studied and practiced in which it must be assessed on 6 following categories;  Originality/Creativity ,Revealing Character, Dialogue, Plot Structure, Word Choices, and Conventions.

    Giovanni Giorgio, a man who was suffering from an emotional disorder got dumped by his beloved girlfriend due to his cantankerousness and jealousy. Unable to encounter his lost and pain, he decided to live secretly under the girl’s attic and keep an eye on her ever since. 

ASEAN and Human Trafficking

       A research essay on Human Trafficking which is related to the Southeast Asia region. This essay discusses completely everything about Human Trafficking; the essence of it, process, affects, as well as ways to stop it based on morality, ethical and civil behaviors.  Furthermore,  students learn to use technology to research and create original work of high quality.

Terrorism Studies on ISIS and the Muslim World; How ISIS expands its threat

This studies is conducted to disseminate information, studies, and analysis of ISIS and the Muslim World based on the sociological concepts and theories, along with factors associated with global violence and threat. Understanding and studying these day-to-day terrorism and the complex activities of the armed group can truly help us to better understand this organisation, as well as the others, in turn making it easier to defeat them.
